Basketball Player of the Week
Domarius Thomas, N.C.
Wesleyan - The senior forward from
Raleigh, North Carolina led the Bishops to a 2-1 record
last week by averaging a double-double of 16.7 points and 10.7
rebounds. He also added 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per
contest. In a 90-56 victory over Roanoke Bible,
Thomas tallied a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds.
He also added three steals and two assists in the win. In an 89-83
loss to Maryland Bible, Thomas notched his second consecutive
double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. He also added one
assist and one steal in the defeat. Finally, in an 82-77 victory
over St. Andrews, Thomas totaled ten points, eight rebounds, three

Player of the Week
Danielle Duncan,
Greensboro - The Greensboro, North
Carolina senior center led The Pride to a 3-0 record last week
by averaging a double-double of 19.7 points and 11.0 rebounds
per game. She also added 2.6 steals and 1.0 assists per
contest. In a 59-49 win over Guilford, Duncan tallied a
double-double of 12 points and ten rebounds. She also added four
steals and one block in the win. In a 74-48 victory over Cabrini,
Duncan totaled 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals, two
assists and one block. Finally, in a 71-58 win over St. Mary's
(Md.), Duncan notched her second double-double of the week with 28
points and 16 rebounds. She also added one assist and one steal in
the win. Duncan was named the Most Valuable Player of the St.
Mary's Invitational after the victories over Cabrini and St.

Sunil Ram, Averett - The
Cary, North Carolina freshman guard averaged 7.3 points,
3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game last week as the
Cougars posted an 0-3 record. In a 73-64 loss to Bridgewater, Ram
totaled 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal. In an
86-72 loss to Virginia Intermont, Ram contributed eight points,
four assists, three rebounds and one steal. Finally, in an 83-62
loss to Emory and Henry, Ram tallied two points, three assists, two
rebounds and two steals. Also Nominated: Devonta Davis,

Shanice
Miles, Mary Baldwin - The Buckingham,
Virginia freshman guard helped the Fighting Squirrels to
a 2-1 record last week by averaging 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.3
assists and 1.3 steals per contest. In a 69-65 win
over Hollins, Miles totaled 22 points, seven rebounds, two
assists, two steals and one block. In a 61-53 victory over York
(NY), Miles contributed two points, six rebounds, five assists and
two steals. Finally, in a 64-43 loss to Stevenson, Miles tallied 17
points, three rebounds and three assists. Also Nominated:
