USA South Holds Annual Football Media Day

(WINCHESTER, Va.) - The USA South Athletic Conference held its fifth annual Football Media Day August 2.  Coaches, administrators and media all traveled to the Winchester Country Club in Winchester, Va. for the event hosted by Shenandoah University.  Head Coaches from all eight football-playing member institutions were present and each gave a preview of their upcoming season.

The day began with Conference Vice-President and Director of Athletics at Shenandoah, John Hill, welcoming everyone to Shenandoah University and Winchester, Va.  Hill then introduced Rita Wiggs, Commissioner of the USA South, who welcomed everyone and expressed her excitement for the upcoming football season.  Emcee Randy Woodward from WZRV 95.3 FM in Winchester, Va. took over from there.  Each Coach addressed the assembled crowd and answered questions.  The media session was then followed by a buffet lunch and golf at the Winchester Country Club.  The event was a great way to kick off the upcoming USA South football season.
