Conference Holds New Coaches Seminar

(ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.) - The USA South Athletic Conference held its second annual seminar for new coaches to the Conference.  The meeting was held on the campus of N.C. Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, N.C.  The event was aimed to familiarize the coaches with the USA South way of life.  Issues were addressed such as conference procedures, professionalism, sportsmanship and NCAA rules and regulations.  Cory Blackson, USA South Sports Information Director, explained the Conference website, statistics and All-Conference procedure.  Bob McEvoy, Director of Athletics at Methodist College and the Conference's President, talked to the group about the role of sportsmanship in the USA South.   USA South Commissioner, Rita Wiggs, then reviewed the NCAA rules and regulations with the new coaches.
