USA South Recognizes the Women's Silver Anniversary Teams
(Newport News, Va.) - The USA South Athletic Conference honored the Silver Anniversary Teams of five women's sports on Saturday, February 25th. The Conference held a reception at Christopher Newport University's Freeman Center prior to the 2006 USA South Women's Basketball Tournament's championship game. At halftime of the game, USA South Commissioner, Rita Wiggs, presented the team members in attendance a medallion that was coined to commemoratetheir accomplishments in their sport.
