USA South's Spring Sports Festival Announcement

(BURLINGTON, N.C.) - The USA South Athletic Conference held a press conference in Burlington, N.C. on Thursday to announce its plans to hold a spring sports festival.  The sports festival will be hosted by the City of Burlington at four locations in the Burlington area and will crown six USA South Athletic Conference tournament champions.  Commissioner Rita Wiggs made the announcement then five Burlington officials (Mayor Stephen Ross, Mayor Pro-Temp David Maynard, Councilman Don Starling, Director of Parks and Recreation, Tony Laws and Derek Steed, Chairman of the Sports Development Council) talked about the city's excitement to host the inaugural event.
