Methodist SAAC Hosts "Project Playday"

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Long Hill Elementary students traveled to nearby Methodist University on Wednesday for a taste of Monarch athletics through "Project Playday." Student-athletes volunteered to teach the students through a variety of stations.

There were stations representing lacrosse, baseball, softball, soccer, football, dance, cheer, tennis, volleyball, track, basketball and golf. The elementary students rotated around to sample the sports demonstrated by the Methodist student-athletes.

Project Playday is an annual event serving as a great opportunity for Methodist student-athletes to give back to the local community directly through their sport.
