USA South Golf Athletes of the Week - Oct. 11, 2017

Golfer of the Week
Lance Keiser, Ferrum - The sophomore from Manassas, Virginia finished tied for first at the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational hosted by Oglethorpe University last week by shooting a five-under par 139. In the two-day event, Keiser opened with a three-under par 69 and finished with a two-under par 70. His performance helped the Panthers to a ninth place finish at the event. Also Nominated: Kevin Kim, Berea; Grant Powell, Greensboro; Grady Anderson, N.C. Wesleyan.

Golf Rookie of the Week
Tyler Bray, Maryville - The freshman from Lutz, Florida finished tied for ninth at the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational hosted by Oglethorpe University last week by shooting a one-under par 143. In the two-day event, Bray opened with an even-par 72 and finished with a one-under par 71. His performance helped the Scots to a tied for seventh place finish at the event. Also Nominated: Juan de Giacomi, N.C. Wesleyan; Trey Capps, William Peace.
