Methodist Picked To Win Golf

February 3, 2004 - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2004 golf pre-season poll and Methodist has been picked to finish first this season.  The Monarchs won the Conference tournament in 2003.  Greensboro has been predicted to finish second in 2004.  The Pride finished second behind Methodist at the Conference tournament last year.  The 2004 USA South golf season tees off March 1. 

The poll is voted on by the golf coach at each institution.  Each school was not allowed to vote for its own team.  Methodist received six first place votes, followed by Greensboro and Averett with one apiece.
