Greensboro Tops Volleyball Pre-Season Poll

August 25, 2003 - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2003 volleyball pre-season poll.  Greensboro has been selected to finish first this upcoming season.  Averett is predicted to finish second.  The poll is voted on by the volleyball coach at each school.  Each school is not allowed to vote for its own team.   

The Pride finished the 2002 regular season one game behind Conference Champion Christopher Newport.  The Cougars lost to CNU in the Conference Championship match.
