Christopher Newport Tops Men's and Women's Cross Country Pre-Season Polls

August 25, 2004 - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2004 cross country pre-season polls.  The Christopher Newport men and women were both picked to finish first this season.  Both Ferrum's men and women are predicted to finish second.  The poll is voted on by the cross country coach at each school.  .   

Both the Captain men and women won their respective Conference championship in 2003.  The Panther men and women came in second.
