Five USA South Golfers Earn All-American Honors

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America has announced its 2005 Division III PING All-America Teams.  One of the most widely-recognized awards in amateur golf, the PING All-America teams have been honored since the GCAA was founded in 1958.  Five USA South golfers are among the 37 golfers honored this year. Earning First Team honors were; Greensboro's Ryan Sharpe and Methodist's Adam Horton.  Greensboro's Rocky Manning and Methodist's Nick Bova and Mike Townsend were named to the Second Team.  A complete list of the 2005 Division III PING All-Americans and special award winners can be found at http://gcaa.collegiategolf.com/home.jsp?page=758.
