Methodist Atop Golf Pre-Season Poll

February 2, 2005 - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2005 golf pre-season poll. 
Methodist is predicted to win the Conference title this year.  The poll is voted on by the golf coach at each school, who is not allowed to vote for his own team.  The Monarchs received all six possible first-place votes.  Greensboro came in second.  MC won the 2004 USA South Tournament and finished fourth at the NCAA Tournament.  The Pride finished second at the Conference Tournament and third at Nationals.
