Softball Tournament Seeding Determined

April 11, 2005 - Following the conclusion of the regular season today, the seeding for the 2005 USA South Softball Tournament has been set.  Regular season champion Methodist is the top seed, followed by Greensboro at two.  Peaceis slated third, followed by N.C. Wesleyan and Christopher Newport at fourth and fifth, respectively.  Ferrum is seeded sixth, while Averett and Shenandoah round out the bracket, seeded seventh and eighth, respectively.  The tournament runs Friday through Sunday in Raleigh, NC.
