Christopher Newport Women's Lacrosse Earns USA South Bid To NCAA Tournament
(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The finals of the USA
South Lacrosse Tournament in Burlington, North Carolina on Sunday, April
15 were forced to be cancelled due to heavy rain and field conditions.
The championship game was to feature the league's two top teams,
Christopher Newport and Greensboro. Per conference rules, the Lady
Captains, as the tournament's top seed, were declared the champions and
will received the league's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA
Tournament.
The 2007 Lacrosse Tournament seeding :
