Methodist Wins USA South Men's Golf Title

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - For the 24th time since 1976, Methodist University has captured the USA South Men's Golf Championship. Played last weekend in Burlington, North Carolina, the two-day tournament was forced to have its second day of play cancelled due to heavy rain at the course. The Monarchs topped Greensboro, who placed second, by ten strokes to earn the title. The Monarchs' Trey Howell earn medalist honors by shooting a two-under par 70.
