USA South Men's Soccer Tournament First Round Action

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The 2007 USA South Men's Soccer Tournament began on Tuesday, October 30 as the bottom four seeds competed. Third-seeded Methodist defeated sixth-seeded Ferrum, 2-0, while fourth-seeded Greensboro defeated fifth-seeded Shenandoah, 3-0.

The tournament now shifts to the campus of top-seeded N.C. Wesleyan who will host the semifinal and championship games. In the first semifinal contest at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 2, Methodist will take on second-seeded Christopher Newport. In semifinal game number two at 2:30 p.m., Greensboro will battle N.C. Wesleyan. The winners of the two games will compete for the tournament title on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m.
