Ferrum Tops Shenandoah In First Round of USA South Lacrosse Tournament
(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The 2008 USA South Lacrosse Tournament
has begun with Ferrum College defeating Shenandoah
University, 13-9, in first round action. The Panthers will now advance
to the semifinal round to face top-seeded Christopher Newport on Friday,
April 18 in Burlington, NC at 1:00 pm. The second semifinal contest will
pit third-seeded Methodist against second-seeded Greensboro at 3:30 pm,
also in Burlington, NC. The championship game will
take place the following day. For any further information, please visit
