Christopher Newport Wins USA South Lacrosse Championship
(BURLINGTON, N.C.) - Top-seeded Christopher Newport scored the first four goals of the game and never looked back en route to a 19-4 victory over second-seeded Greensboro on Saturday, April 19 in Burlington, N.C. The Captains' Kaitlin Quigley led the way with five goals and one assist with two draw controls. For her efforts, Quigley was named the tournament's most valuable player. The victory gives CNU its third consecutive tournament title.
