Christopher Newport Wins USA South Men's Tennis Tournament Crown
(BURLINGTON, N.C.) - Without dropping a single individual match, Christopher Newport swept through the 2008 USA South Men's Tennis Tournament to claim the program's second championship. The top-seeded Captains earned a 9-0 win over second-seeded Methodist to capture the title. The Captains were led by John Mook, who at the number-one singles position, was 2-0 for the tournament and collected MVP honors.
