Greensboro Football Player Named Academic All-American

December 2, 2002 - Greensboro's Justin Wilder has been named to the 2002 Verizon Academic All-American College Division Football Second Team. To be nominated for this honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average for his career. The teams are chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America. The senior wide receiver from Wednell, NC is majoring in Business Administration and Economics and has a 4.0 grade point average. Wilder was also named First Team All-DIAC. He averaged 10.3 yards per catch, 50.2 receiving yards per game and had three touchdowns this past season.
