Shenandoah's Anderson Named All-American

December 17, 2002 – Shenandoah's Gregg Anderson has been named to the American Football Coaches Association 2002 Division III Coaches' All-America Team. The team is made up of players from Division III institutions and is voted on by coaches across the country.

Anderson recorded 43 solo and 42 assisted tackles this season. He also had four interceptions, recovered three fumbles and broke up six passes. The Clifton, VA free safety was named First Team All-Conference in 2001 and 2002. He is Shenandoah's career leader in tackles and interceptions, as well as being their first ever player to be selected for the AFCA's Aztec Bowl and as an All-American.
