Shenandoah's Anderson Named HP All-American

December 18, 2002 – Shenandoah's Gregg Anderson has been named to the Hewlett Packard Division III Third Team All-America. The team is selected by a panel of 29 sports information directors representing the four playoff regions in NCAA Division III.

Anderson recorded 43 solo and 42 assisted tackles this season. He also had four interceptions, recovered three fumbles and broke up six passes. The Clifton, VA senior free safety was named First Team All-Conference in 2001 and 2002. He was also named to the American Football Coaches' Association 's All-America Team. He is Shenandoah's career leader in tackles and interceptions, as well as being their first ever player to be selected for the AFCA's Aztec Bowl and as an All-American.
