CNU Football Continues To Rise In AFCA Poll

October 28, 2003 – The American Football Coaches Association has released its weekly Top 25 poll and Christopher Newport continues to rise up the ranks.  The Captains come in at number 11 this week.  After defeating Averett 22-13, CNU is now 7-1 on the season.  This marks the sixth consecutive week the Captains have been ranked by the AFCA and they have improved their position each of those weeks.  They were ranked 13th last week.
