CNU Football Continues To Rise In AFCA Poll

November 18, 2003 – The American Football Coaches Association has released its weekly Top 25 poll and Christopher Newport dropped in the rankings. After a 19-17 loss to Ferrum, the Captains are now 7-2 and ranked 23rd by the AFCA.   CNU reached its highest position last week, as it was ranked 11th.  This marks the seventh consecutive week the Captains have been ranked by the organization.
