Three DIAC Baseball Teams Still Nationally Ranked

 

April 14, 2003 -  The NCAA has announced its Division III Baseball Top 25 poll and three DIAC teams continue to be ranked.  Ferrum topped the list of DIAC representatives at the fourth spot.  The Panthers are currently 25-3, 10-2 and won the Conference title.  They were previously ranked 11th.  Christopher Newport, currently 21-5, 9-3, maintained its ninth place ranking.  Methodist, previously second in the Top 25, fell to the 15th spot.  The Monarchs finished the regular season with a 22-9, 6-6 record.
