N.C. Wesleyan Men, Ferrum Women Top Basketball Pre-Season Polls


November 4, 2003 - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2003 men's and women's basketball pre-season polls.  The polls are voted on by the respective sport's coach at each school.  N.C. Wesleyan has been picked to finish first in the men's race this year.  Ferrum has been predicted by the coaches to win the Conference on the women's side. 

The N.C. Wesleyan men finished the 2002-2003 season with an 18-10 overall record and 10-4 in the Conference. 
The Ferrum women shared last year's regular season championship with Christopher Newport.  The Panthers finished the season 10-4 in the Conference and 19-8 overall.
