Blackson Resigns as USA South Sports Information Director

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - USA South Athletic Conference Commissioner Rita Wiggs has announced that Cory Blackson has resigned as Sports Information Director effective July 25 to accept the position of Assistant Sports Information Director at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.

"I cannot thank the people of the USA South enough for the opportunity they have given me to grow personally and professionally, commented Blackson.  "The USA South is a great conference and I truly value the time I have spent here."

Blackson, a native of Coshocton, Ohio, joined the USA South in March of 2005 and has overseen all media relations, publications, public relations duties, and maintained Conference statistics and records for the USA South's 14 intercollegiate sports.  Blackson has also been an active member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), serves on the organization's Publication Contest committee.
