CNU Football Continues To Rise Nationally

October 13, 2003 – D3football.com has announced this week's Top 25 and Christopher Newport continues to rise up the rankings.  The Captains are currently 4-1 and are ranked 21st.  This is the third consecutive week the team has been ranked nationally.  A 42-10 victory over Greensboro propelled the Captains up two spots from last week's 23.  The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
