CNU Football Jumps Up Seven Spots In National Poll

October 20, 2003 – D3football.com has announced this week's Top 25 and Christopher Newport jumped up seven spots after a 31-7 victory over Chowan.  The Captains are currently 5-1 and are ranked 14th.  This is the fourth consecutive week the team has been ranked nationally and they have continually risen each week.  The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
