CNU Football Drops In National Poll

November 17, 2003 – D3football.com has announced this week's Top 25 and Christopher Newport has fallen in the rankings.  After a 19-17 loss to Ferrum, the Captains are currently 7-2 and ranked 20th.  The team was 11th last week, which marked the Captains' highest position in the D3football.com poll this season.  This is the eighth consecutive week the team has been ranked nationally.  The D3football.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
