Five Golfers Named All-America Scholar

May 23, 2003 – Five DIAC Golfers have been named a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar.  Greensboro's Jonathan Dudley; Averett's Jeff Johnston, Toni Karjalainen and Janne Mommo and Methodist's James Stewart were all recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments.  The awards were presented at the NCAA championships in Delaware, OH. 

Karjalainen was the 2003 DIAC Player of the Year. Mommo was named First Team All-Conference.  Dudley and Stewart were both part of the Second Team All-Conference.  These players' performances were crucial in helping Methodist, Greensboro and Averett to first, second and third place finishes at the Conference Tournament.
