Lacrosse All-Conference Teams Named
April 15, 2003 - The Dixie Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has
announced its 2003 Lacrosse All-Conference
selections. The players are voted on by the lacrosse coaches and
Sports Information Directors at each institution.
Greensboro's Stephanie Schaeffer has been named the DIAC Player of the
Year. The goalkeeper started 13 games and had 110 saves for the
Pride.
Joia Davis of Shenandoah is the Rookie of Year. The midfielder
recorded 28 goals and 11 assists for the Hornets.
Greensboro's Tammy Dixon is the 2003 Coach of the Year. Her Pride
finished the regular season with an 11-4, 5-0 record, best in the
Conference.
