Averett Men's Basketball Ranked 15th In Current D3Hoops.com Top-25 Poll

December 12, 2006 - One week after entering the poll at number 20, the Cougars rose five spots this week and are currently ranked 15th. Averett, which owns a 7-0 record, is off to the best start in its program's history. Christopher Newport is currently receiving votes in the poll and is one spot from entering the Top-25. The poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and writers from around the country and is published weekly at http://www.d3hoops.com/top25/.  This week's Top 25 follows:
