Averett Men's Basketball Moves Up To 11th In In Current D3Hoops.com Top-25 Poll

January 2, 2007 - Averett rose one spot to 12th in the current D3hoops.com Top-25 poll. The Cougars climbed in the poll despite not seeing any action over the holiday break. Averett, which owns a 9-0 record, is off to the best start in the program's history. Christopher Newport, after entering the Top-25 in the previous poll, fell out and is currently receiving votes. The poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and writers from around the country and is published weekly at http://www.d3hoops.com/top25/.  This week's Top 25 follows:
