Co-Golfers of the Week
          Matt Bova, Methodist and Nick Bova, Methodist - The Bova brothers from Bloomington, Illinois, Matt a junior and Nick a senior, each shot a four-over par 146 and finished in an eighth-place tie at the Jack Shadwick Invitational in Seneca, South Carolina. The Bovas led the Monarchs to a second place finish in the two-day tournament. Matt shot a first round 77 then followed with a two-under par 69 in round two. Nick fired a 72 in the opening round then a 74 in the final round. Also Nominated: Josh Cumming, Greensboro.
 

Golf Rookie of the Week

Golf Rookie of the Week
          Matt Wagner, Christopher Newport - The freshman from LaPlata, Maryland shot a six-over 150 at the Ted Keller Invitational at Hunting Hawk in Glen Allen, Virginia. Wagner shot an opening round 77 and followed with a one-over par 73 in his closing round to finish tied for 7th at the tournament and help the Captains to a sixth place finish. Also Nominated: Joshua Ryles, Greensboro.
