Piedmont Baseball's Ballstadt Named All-American

Demorest, GA - BRADY BALLSTADT was named to the D3baseball.com 2018 All-America Team earning first team honors as well as an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) third team selection. The honor comes after being named the D3baseball.com All-South Region Player of the Year. The junior outfielder was one of just two USA South players to earn All-America honors.

Ballstadt was tied for the most stolen bases by any player on the listing and was one of just five players to earn the honor with a perfect fielding percentage. 

Ballstadt earns All-America honors after posting a .397 batting average in 2018 and led the USA South in hits with 73, earning conference Player of the Year as well. The junior from Suwanee, Georgia led the team in runs, hits, doubles, and homeruns for the second year in a row and totaled 120 bases, the best in the NCAA era program history, breaking his own record of 98 set a season ago.
