USA South Men's Tennis Tournament Completes First Day

(BURLINGTON, N.C.) - The 2012 USA South Men's Tennis Tournament has completed its first day of action in Burlington, N.C. Each of the higher-seeded teams advanced to the semifinals. Second-seeded Christopher Newport topped seventh-seeded Shenandoah, 9-0, third-seeded Averett defeated sixth-seeded Ferrum, 8-1 and fourth-seeded Methodist eased past fifth-seeded Greensboro, 9-0. Top-seeded N.C. Wesleyan received a bye into the semifinal round. The tournament will continue through Sunday, April 15.
