CNU & Shenandoah Ranked In Preseason Cross Country Polls
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released preseason regional rankings for the NCAA Division III 2011 season. The USA South is represented in the rankings by two institutions, Christopher Newport University and Shenandoah University. In the South/Southeast region, the Captain men and women are each ranked while the Hornet women are ranked.
The CNU men are ranked fifth in the region after concluding last season ranked eighth regionally. The CNU women are ranked fourth regionally while defending USA South Champion, Shenandoah's women, come in at eighth in the poll.
