Mackenzie Puckett, Maryville, Rookie of the Week

The Franklin, Tennessee freshman guard helped the Scots to a 2-0 record last week versus USA South competition by averaging 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocks. In a 72-66 win at Greensboro, Puckett notched a double-double of 18 points and ten rebounds. She also added one block in the victory. In a 68-54 win over Methodist, Puckett scored seven points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked four shots, dished out one assist and collected one steal.
