RALEIGH, N.C. -- William Peace University is proud to announce BT Pham as the new Head Track and Field Coach.

"With the endless possibility and potential for William Peace to grow academically and athletically, this opportunity will allow me to utilize my strengths and skills to lead this young and promising program to new heights. Coach Pham comes to William Peace after having coached at Milligan College in 2018 and 2019. While at Milligan, Pham found great success with the men's and women's programs, coaching two NAIA National Champions, two NAIA All – Americans, four NAIA National Qualifiers, four AAC Indoor/ Outdoor Conference Champions, and 20 AAC Indoor / Outdoor All - Conference athletes. With the Buffalos, Coach Pham worked with the sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, and multis. He also designed and implemented a weight-lifting program for their athletes.

Prior to coaching at Milligan College, Coach Pham served as a Graduate Assistant with Piedmont College from 2016-2018. With the Piedmont Lions, Coach Pham helped lead the Lions to one Male USA South Conference title, six USTFCCCA All – Region athletes, seven USA South Champions, 24 USA South All – Conference athletes, two USTFCCCA Team All – Academic athletes, and assisted in the creation of the College's first track and field program.

"BT is an accomplished athlete himself, strong recruiter, and coach of nationally ranked track and field athletes. As we begin our second year of track and field at WPU, we feel that we have found the leader to help us grow our team - both on and off the track! Under his leadership, we look forward to larger teams competing for conference honors and student-athletes who will excel in the classroom, in their events, and in meeting life goals."
Coach Pham earned his undergraduate degree in Sport and Entertainment Management and Marketing at Concordia University where he played football and ran track and field. Pham earned his Masters degree at Piedmont College and completed his studies in 2018.
In his free time, Coach Pham enjoys traveling in the off-season and exploring new places with his dog.
