DEMOREST, Ga. - BRADY BALLSTADT was named to the D3baseball.com 2019 Preseason All-America Team earning first team honors announced Thursday. The honor comes after being named to the 2018 All-America Team following his performance during his junior season.
The senior outfielder earned 2018 first team All-America honors after being named the D3baseball.com All-South Region Player of the Year.
The honor ranks him as one of the top 14 players in DIII baseball and one of the top three outfielders across the sport. Alex Kachler, C, Methodist earned honorable mention as the only other member from the USA South to earn a spot on the listing.
Ballstadt earned 2018 All-America honors after posting a .397 batting average and led the USA South in hits with 73, earning conference Player of the Year as well. The outfielder from Suwanee, Georgia led the team in runs, hits, doubles, and homeruns for the second year in a row and totaled 120 bases, the best in the NCAA era program history, breaking his own record of 98 set as a sophomore.
